Breedings

The American Bully breed was generated in 1990, as a mix of Pit Bull Terrier and American Staffordshire Terrier. This new breed gained recognition in 2004 with the creation of the American Bully Kennel Club, and today also is recognized by the United Kennel Club.

The American Bully has been bred for loyalty, stability, and to be a family pet. Bullies have a heavy bone structure and a “bully” build. They are the ultimate companion breed, as they are loyal, intelligent, affectionate, and have an eagerness to please their families.

At Legendary Bully Camp, we look for that person who wants a “fur-ever” friend. The American Bully breed tests at an 87% compatibility across all temperaments, which is 2% better than a Golden Retriever. They are family-first oriented dogs, very loyal, and they can go to any dog park and play with other dogs.

The American Bully has a short, glossy coat that is easy to groom and presents in a variety of colors and patterns. We aim for tri-colored and merles. Bullies come in four sizes that are recognized by the A.B.K.C.— Standard, Pocket, XL, and Classic.
